Whisky Montréal a l’honneur de vous inviter à une soirée exceptionnelle dédiée à la découverte et à la dégustation des whiskys Tomintoul et Glencadam. Cet événement exclusif sera animé par Iain Forteath, Master Blender des deux distilleries, qui partagera son expertise et ses histoires sur la création de ces whiskys exceptionnels.

- Dégustation Guidée : Iain Forteath vous guidera à travers une dégustation soignée des whiskys Tomintoul et Glencadam, mettant en lumière les caractéristiques uniques et les nuances de chaque produit.
- Questions et Réponses : Une session interactive où vous pourrez poser toutes vos questions directement à notre expert.
Iain Forteath, Master Blender for Angus Dundee Distillers PLC
Iain’s passion for ‘the water of life’ started at a young age and has seen him transition from a whisky consumer and enthusiast into one of the youngest Master Blenders in the Scotch Whisky Industry. With an extensive knowledge of wines and spirits, Iain takes his passion, enthusiasm and expertise with him to our markets around the Globe.
Iain has been working full-time in the Wine and Spirits Industry since 2011. Starting in Specialist retail, he has held various roles within the industry covering retail, wholesale and private investment before joining Angus Dundee Distillers as their Global Brand Ambassador in late 2015. Within this role Iain has been responsible for the education and support of our international customers, hosting tastings and events in our markets around the world. His sensory abilities were realised early on in his career and this lead him to become part of the blending team at Angus Dundee. Success within this role culminated with Iain being appointed as the company’s Master Blender in 2021.
When he’s not travelling, you can find Iain in our lab creating new whiskies or in our distillery warehouses nosing and inspecting our maturing spirits. He plays an important role in the company’s cask sourcing and is always on the lookout for new and exciting wood types and flavour profiles. As well as maintaining our best-selling whiskies, Iain has been responsible for blending some of the company’s highest-awarded releases including the Tomintoul Cigar Malt and the Glencadam Reserva Andalucia.
Iain has a real passion for whisky heritage, innovation and flavour composition and specialises in delivering quirky masterclasses tailored to his audience- keeping them fun and factual while sharing a good dram… or two!
